Biography

Bristol Jewellery started in 1958 in London, Ontario by Don Thayer, Charles Bernard and Earl Scarrow. Bristol was a wholesale manufacturer selling unset ring mounts to retail stores nationwide.

Jack Kinsley 1946-1982
Jack Kinsley Sr. served in WW2, after the war he was retrained as a stone setter and did work for Bristol and other stores around London.

Jack Kinsley 1968-2003
Jack Kinsley Jr. started working for Bristol at the age of 17. He began his trade experience as a ring polisher and continued his training in casting, designing, repairing and ring finishing. In 1965 Jack started his own retail shop on Dundas Street in London, Ontario’s east end. In 1991 Jack purchased Bristol Jewellery and started doing retail sales.

Tom-Kinsley

Tom Kinsley 2000-Current
In 1999, Tom Kinsley enrolled at a training center in Toronto, Ontario and graduated with an apprenticeship with his father at Bristol in April of 2000. Tom continues his family’s legacy by providing London, Ontario with the highest quality jewellery products and services.
